MMO Middleware

Bitfold offers three middleware platforms for developing client & browser-based MMO games. We offer our "SkyServer" MMO Game Server for use as a base server platform for MMO games and two full game engines that are integrated with SkyServer for building flash-based browser MMO's and client-based 3D MMO's respectively.

Additionally developers and artists from our MMO game development studios who know our technology can help build the foundation and core features of your games. If you're interested in more information on our MMO platforms, please send an email to info@bitfold.net.

SkyServer MMO Game Server

The Bitfold SkyServer Platform is the MMO server framework Bitfold has developed to serve as the backbone to the MMO games Bitfold creates in-house and for its customers. Unlike "general purpose" MMO middleware, the SkyServer platform has been designed to achieve functional goals for the multiple MMO games we've developed. Through usage on these games, it has been designed to make as little assumptions as possible about the game being built and serves as a general framework which provides the features core to all MMO games.

MMO Game Engines

Bitfold offers two game engines pre-integrated with SkyServer that come with excellent visual game design tools.
